Yahoo News is reporting that Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson, known for his endzone antics has legally changed his last name to “Ocho Cinco”, a reference to his jersey number 85.
According to Johnson Ocho Cinco:
It’s something I don’t think anyone has ever done before. Have I ever had a reason for why I do what I do? I’m having fun.
Clearly, Mr. Ocho Cinco is dying to sell some jerseys, but it raises the question: what video game character or reference would you change your name to? Or would you name your kids anything like that? If not a game, how about a movie or book reference?
I would have to say that I have always liked the name “Anakin”. Just sounds cool. I would probably not name my kid that, maybe his middle name at the most. My fiancee is in love with Joaquin Phoenix and wants to name a son that, which is actually fine by me, I like the name. But if we have a girl, I want to name her Sadie. Only problem is, there is a Beatles song called, “Sexy Sadie” and that’s just asking for trouble.
So? What about you guys?

dibs on megatron as a first name!
If I was to name my kid after a video game Character it would be John. A normal name but reference to Master Chief.
