Who Needs Friends When You’ve Got Games Lists (And Games)?!

The holidays are upon us!  Ah, yes, it is that wonderful (and sad) time of the year when games ruin your social life and empty your bank account.  Don’t get me wrong, I for one am in favor of not having real friends!  This allows me time to visit my virtual friends, in their virtual worlds, with their virtual stuff.

Therefore, I have compiled a couple Top Ten Most Wanted Games lists for you, the viewing public.  When the complaints start piling up and my alleged friends yell at me because I didn’t get X done or failed to hang out with so and so, it will mostly like be the fault of one of these gems.

First, I would like to start by saying that my name is Frankie, and you will be seeing more of me in the coming days, months, and years.  I will be writing reviews, previews, and random stuff from time to time.  Hopefully I can gain your approval and find acceptance in the wonderful gaming community we are creating here at GamerSushi.

Now, let’s move on to business. You will find that I have compiled two lists on this page.  The first list is a Top Ten Most Wanted Games of 2008 and the other list gives you a Top Ten Most Wanted Games for 2009 and Beyond.  Of course, release dates change and I COULD make a mistake in my dates.  If, for example, Wipeout HD gets pushed back yet again and it ends up in 2009 then my list is useless and I am an incredible failure at life.  Hopefully, that won’t happen! On that note, I give you MY lists…

My tastes in games are some what eclectic and that might throw you off at first.  I like a lot of different genres and I will pretty much give anything a try.  However, just so you know, I am currently playing Halo 3 and NCAA Football 2009 on the 360 (i.e., I can be a stereotypical gamer too).  At any rate, what are your top ten lists for 2008 and 2009?

  7. Nice job on the first feature, Frank. Also, PoP is one of those games I keep forgetting about. I saw a preview of it at PAX and it looks awesome.

  12. GTA IV is slated for some XBL exclusive DLC this winter, as well. I’m really looking forward to hoping back into Niko’s shoes and commiting some mayhem for money.

    My list is pretty short, but here it is:

    3. DAWN OF WAR 2(2009, hopefully)

    The new DoW looks gorgeous…Too bad I’d need a beefy computer to run it…I still love you, 2.5 gHz processor..

    I was excited for Fable 2…Then I played the Pub Games. It kind of had an opposite effect on me..I became less excited for that game. It was just executed so poorly, in my opinion.
