Socom: Confrontation Beta Open To Qore Users on Friday

Do you like to get in on the ground floor of something that could be kind of fun? If so, I hope you bought the June edition of Qore on the PSN.

If you did, you will be treated to something special on Friday, September 12th as the Socom: Confrontation beta will be available for you to download and give a test run.

I know that there were early problems with the beta and a quick look at some message boards will show that some people don’t seem to understand what a beta’s purpose is. For that, we go to my favorite place on the web, Wikipedia:

A beta version is the first version released outside the organization or community that develops the software, for the purpose of evaluation or real-world black/grey-box testing. The process of delivering a beta version to the users is called beta release. Beta level software generally includes all features, but may also include known issues and bugs of a less serious variety.

Got that? So download June’s Qore and come Friday let’s break the beta!
