Nothing is worse when playing a game online than getting stuck with some jerk on your own team. I mean, getting matched up against them is bad enough, but when you’re on the same team with them, you just have to put up with their garbage for the entire time you play, rather than just the occasional match-up. And the worst part about it is these jerks come up in all shapes and sizes.
So what are these different types of losers? GamesRadar has cataloged them in a recent article titled the 9 Worst Types of Gamer to Have on Your Team, and I have to say it’s pretty accurate. They run down the gobshite (trashtalker), the mute, the drill sergeant, the lone wolf and even the damsel, who always needs saving. There are plenty more, and all of them are hilarious, so I’d recommend reading up on the whole thing.

Hahaha! Awesome article! I totally fit in the Blamer section, but it’s not like I try to blame shit. I honestly think it’s compulsive. Whatever. As long as I’m not getting raped, I won’t get pissed.
But I’ve got to say Griefers are much, much, MUCH worse than Drill Sergeants. Considering I play Insurgency, where you NEED that Drill Sergeant player commanding your squad, I almost prefer a Drill Sergeant over regular assholes. So I think Drill Sergeants and Griefers should switch their ranks on the list. Oh, and there’s nothing more irritating than the Lone Wolf noob stealing your kills, boarding your windows, and nabbing your Max Ammos while you’re down in Nazi Zombies.
I have to say that i hate the drill sergeant and the blamers the most cause most of the other ones are mostly harmless with what they do, they are just bad but blamers are annoying and the drill sergeant ones usually don’t have a good sense of strategy and just spout terms that they think sound cool. both usually seem to sppear at the bottom of the standings. The one they didn’t mention was the mic spammer, with his annoying music or sound samples, but he might fall under the title of gobshite. Eddy, Qué es la clase tú caes bajo? I think it means what class do you fall under? only been a week and i already forgot all of my spanish 7-8 class.

I absolutely hate when a guy will try his hardest and if he starts to lose or has a bad kill to death he’ll pretend hese not trying and hese got better stuff to do. He can get owned and be like,”Oh sorry, I was talking to my friend on the computer… if this was COD Id beat your ass” or the “You Got Lucky” guy… who bases everything on that one phrase. However, most of all I hate the kid who will challenge you to a 1 on 1 no matter the situation. “You guys suck” “Whatever dude, screw you” “SCREW ME?! 1 on 1 right now! your scared! your scared!” Funny article, I feel like I’m a magnet for those types of people.
The worst for me are the newf*g /b/tards, who try to defend /b/, talk about memes, tell everyone how cool they are, die every round, and have the lowest kill count. Those or 8-12 year olds, but they’re easy to get rid of. Just trash talk them out, and they’ll cry and leave. Works every time.

I do that too, except I don’t sing along to it. I like to put on Rap Chop, which is a remix of the Slap Chop commercial, done by the ShamWow guy. I use that in TF2, mostly, and only when I’m on a roll. I back-stabbed nearly a whole team pushing the cart in Badwater yesterday…It was glorious.

Griefing is only fun when everyone agrees that they’re screwing around and having dumb fun in the game (Dancing with a tank in L4D xD)
And the only good DI’s (drill sarges) are the ones who instead of being the gunny actually help plan good strategies to win (again with L4D in mind)

Oh, definitely. I’m more likely to roam the map myself, but if somebody can’t figure out how to use grenades and a close-quarters weapon, it’s their own fault that they get killed by the same guy over and over again. And everybody’s been saying what they dislike, but c’mon – what are you guys most like? I’m guilty of being a lone wolf from time to time, especially in TF2.

That’s so TRUE! I’m surprised about these guys, running into the same camping dude, over and over again, and not trying to do anything different!
I Also hate the players who think someone is Hacking.For example they complain “Wall hack! Wall hack!” jus because someone got a lucky kill through wall. And after that, he would blame him of every single Hack they could think of.
