Oh man, how I miss sidescrolling co-op beat-em-up games. Seriously, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtles in Time and Hyperstone Heist games were some of my favorite classic titles from the good old SNES and Genesis days. Playing those games with my brother and our neighbors pretty much defined my summers during childhood.
So that’s why I’m stupid excited for the re-shelling of TMNT: Turtles in Time. It hits PSN and XBLA this week for only 10 bucks, and I seriously can’t wait for it. Anybody else going to get in on this action?
Kinda looks like Super smash bros, but only with 4 (identical) characters.
Looks k. Might be worth a try, but I really wasn’t fond of the first one tho :/

No, it’s a beat-em-up. Not anything like Smash Bros. This takes skill, ninja like reflexes and pizza. Lots and lots of pizza.
It only hits XBLA this week, PSN later this month or next. Timed exlusives suck.
I’ll take your word for it then. I still would like to try it out before I get it.
oh yeah, and
The Pizza is a pie!
Oh how I loved this game. I used to play it all the time. I know how it’s going to sound like, but this game had a bigger impact on my childhood than Super Mario 64. And that’s saying something. My family isn’t really huge on gaming, but when I was younger, I used to play this game with everyone I knew.
I just hope they don’t mess it up. After all, it’s not the same company making the remake. Konami made the original. Ubisoft is making this one, and they haven’t been my favorite developer if you know what I mean.
The cake is a spy.
I hope that if you beat the game, it tells you that you need to beat it on Hard in order to be a true Ninja. And tells you how long it took to finish hah. My roomate and I just beat the SNES one in 26 Minutes… Can you beat it?
This is getting some bad reviews, but it appears that the reviewers didn’t expect the game to play like an old school game.
So what were they expecting?
I played the game recently. And I was expecting an old school game. But I just didn’t get the same feeling I did playing this on the SNES. I know it’s based off the arcade version, but I still think it would have been better if they added the additions from the SNES version. I also wish they would have kept the soundtrack from the original game, or just remixed it.
Overall, it was Ok. But it wasn’t anywhere near the SNES title.
