Man, this seems like it was the year to go to PAX in Seattle. If you didn’t know, the huge gaming convention happened last weekend. I went last year, but was unable to attend this year, and I had to avoid the news because it was just going to make me depressed, hungry and angry. Yes, all three of those.
One of the big games that I wish I could have seen in person was Mass Effect 2. Bioware was rocking a nice demo from the game, and you can watch it in all its glory. Who else is getting ridiculously anxious for this game, due early next year? Just me? Ok then.
I wanted to go to PAX so bad this year. Definitely going next year, no exceptions.
Man, I’m looking forward to this so badly. This just looks a lot more cinematic, and I’m really excited to play through the dialogue scenes where you’re flying in a car, or what-not.
Did you see him punch that robot? SHEPARD…PAUNCH!
This game is one of my favorite ever, and I am going to pee my pants once spring rolls around.
Actually, this was NOT the year for PAX. Unless you happen to be a fan of the H1N1 (Swine Flu) Virus. There has been one confirmed case, and evidently a few people have gotten sick. Just check out the PA site, or you can also read about Scott Kurtz (pvponline) on his site too. Turns out I was lucky to not be able to make it this year.
I STILL haven’t completed Mass Effect 1, I don’t even know why!
Hopefully I will get around ot it before ME2, otherwise I will just read a story summery somewhere because this game is looking kick ass. Cinematic Win.
Man, I tried… I really tried to get into Mass Effect. I just couldn’t do it. Maybe it’s because I was playing Fallout 3 at the same time, and it swallowed me like a beach swallows a whale… (that’s right, it crushed me and could only be removed by dynamite…)
Anyways. Maybe I’ll giv’r another shot.
