Since many of us in the good ol’ States have just had a weekend of revelry, merriment and turkey eating, that means we’ve all had several days for an abnormal amount of video game playing. Or at least, for me it’s been an abnormal amount.
If you listened to the most recent podcast, you heard us chatting about winter gaming and how for some reason, when it gets cold outside, some of just die to start playing more games. Because of that, I finally decided to grab Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood earlier this week so I would have something to play over the holidays. So far, I’m loving the game, and I’m really surprised by the amount of content in it. What’s more surprising to me, though, is just how much I love the multiplayer. What I viewed as some tacked on mode is actually quite a bit of fun, and a great change of pace from typical deathmatch fair.
In addition to that, I’ve been playing Prince of Persia: Sands of Time on PSN, and I’m also looking forward to grabbing Gran Turismo 5 in the next couple of weeks. What about you guys? What are you playing this weekend? Go!
Minus what I’ve been rapping up on AC:B, I’ve still been playing Black Ops.

Not to double post, but I realized my lack of sleep has clouded my judgment when it comes to typing DX ***Wrapping***
I’ve been playing small amounts of COD4’s multiplayer, Counter Strike: Source and TF2. I also just started my second play-through of Mass Effect 2, which is solidifying my love for the series.
BlOps, BC2, perhaps a little Reach.
My PS3 broke a 3rd time in 2 months so I’m saying goodbye 60Gb, hello 320 with GT5.
I’m playing Oblivion on the PC in the meantime.
I’ve had my fill of B.O. multiplayer, so I played through the campaign a second time on hardened. I also finally finished Reach on legendary with a couple friends since everyone finally had time to do it. I rented Medal of Honor a couple days ago to play the campaign on it since I heard it was really good. After that I’ll borrow AC:B from a buddy and play the living daylights out of it.
On another note, I cashed in on that deal GameStop has right now with trade-in credit(trade 2-3/get an extra 10%, trade 4-5/get an extra 20%, trade 6 or more/get an extra 40%). I got rid of twelve games and now have enough credit to buy a brand new game and still have a little left. If anyone has any games to get rid of, I would highly recommend that right now. Today is probably the last day for it, not sure though.
AC Brotherhood and Black Ops.
