We all know that most Xbox LIVE users are all about Call of Duty, but I don’t think any of us could have fathomed how deep their collective addiction goes. Since 2007, we have had four, count them four, Call of Duty titles, and they all are being played enough over LIVE to take up a spot each on the Xbox LIVE activity list for the week of November 22.
The Call of Duty game with the lowest placing is the original Modern Warfare at number thirteen. Holding the top two spots are Modern Warfare 2 and the recently released Black Ops. Halo: Reach stays steady at number three, while its predecessor, Halo 3, amazingly comes in above Call of Duty 4 in seventh place. Hit the jump for the full list:

Another interesting tidbit is the fact that Dead Rising 2 is no longer charting, while the game’s prequel, Case: Zero, is. Also absent is Mass Effect 2, but considering that game came out in January, that isn’t a big surprise.

Am I missing something? Or is Lara Croft Guardian of Light not on the Top Arcade list? Sad face since that game was amazing!
That’s pretty impressive and it stands as a testament to how good at balancing Bungie and IW were when they made those games (ie. CoD4 and Halo 3).
If people enjoy CoD games then I say let them play. They’re enjoyed by many for a reason. I just don’t understand how BFBC2 is so low. It’s way better than any FPS on that list.
People should totally tone down the COD love, can’t stand it. And Skuba how can COD and balance be in the same sentence?

He’s talking about CoD 4. There weren’t many complaints about that one I don’t think.
DANG. That list is surprising. Reach I figured would be 2. And Halo 3…wow, still trucking.
Thing is, i think a lot of people dont like Black Ops and went back to MW2. Same with reach and Halo 3.

Martyrdom and Juggernaut and grenades were all much talked about. Although I loved CoD 4’s campaign, the MP was still as unbalanced as the others.
Hahaha, oh yeah, Martyrdom. I totally forgot about how much that perk sucked.
The complaints about martyrdom were so overblown, though. And Juggernaut as well. Put on Stopping Power and Juggernaut was negated. Don’t run over people you just killed. Martyrdom solved.
I’m with Anthony. I remember not thinking that Martyrdom was a very big deal. Just keep your distance after the kill.
Ya know, I miss the first few weeks of Black Ops. Before everything was exploited, mods came out and more hacks then Zombies on “Five” after the 10th level.
