It’s Episode 48 of the GamerSushi show! Despite the fact that there’s no game this week will still find a way to fill up almost an hour with our ramblings. Nick is busy with “jobs” so the Beard is not present; I guess you’ll have to make do with us moderately hairy folk.
We talked about a large variety of topics this week and just let the conversation take us where ever it wanted to go. It’s a bit less structured than a normal episode, but I think it still works pretty well.
That’s up for you guys to decide though. Listen to it, rate it, love it. Just one more episode until the big drunkcast! Maybe I’ll live tweet that one too. What do you say?

Great cast guys. I found the discussion about game length particularly interesting, as I remember back when the Witcher 2 came out people complained about its length. Witcher 1 had 80 hours (it even advertised it on the box) of gameplay and fans cried out when the Witcher 2 only (only?) had 30. However, the Witcher 1 had a lot of filler and pacing issues (which is why I quit) that added to the game’s length. The Witcher 2 on the other hand, like I’ve stated here before, is a well oiled machine that is perfectly paced and clocks in at 30. Why do we as gamers cry foul at that? Why do we focus so much on the number of hours rather than the experience provided?
Also I had to laugh when Anthony mentioned his fights on Gamasutra, since it’s a site I regularly attend and I always laugh when I see Anthony’s comments.
“Ouch! My Toe! My Toe!”
Another great cast guys, haven’t followed in a while but had time today on this holiday Monday up here, eh?
I’m waiting til Friday when I get paid to pick up Operation Arrowhead and attempt to install Day Z. Can’t wait.
But for now, Turtles in Time!!
Pizza Time!

Oh, man, I had no idea I had an audience! Now I have to try to be reasonable.
I have never played BG&E and from what I have heard, people who played it loved it. I may need to try to give that a shot sometime.
Guys, Im with you on that. I want to play ARMA DAYZ As well, but so many others games are just THERE in the way!! 🙁 Ugh. Please, when you guys start playing DayZ, PLEASE let me know! I would love to be a part of that with you guys! 😀 I was so stoked when I saw that game was coming out, but moving has caused $30 to come hard to come by. The game just seems amazing, the whole thing looks great IMO. I cant wait to play this game. BTW, Im listening to this and I checked….it went from 4.5 hours to .5 hours.. – http://www.dayzmod.com/ (Top Right)
