So this kind of happens every now and then. Or rather, it would be more specific to say that it happens once a year — GamerSushi has another birthday.
It’s hard to believe that we started this little venture up four years ago, but here we are, almost 2500 posts, 630,000 words and 20,000 comments later.
We’re still writing about the games we love, still hanging out with you guys, still trying to review titles honestly and doing our best to have some thoughtful reflection on the world’s greatest hobby. If you haven’t noticed, we’re back to our regular posting schedule, and another “season” of the podcast is starting very soon. Honestly, we couldn’t ask for a better community, and it’s wonderful that so many of you are on here participating and sharing your thoughts with us.
It hits us right in the feels, as the kids say.
So raise your glasses, gents and ladies. Here’s to another four years and then some on GamerSushi. When did you stumble across this little gaming nook? Go!
I remember stumbling upon this ages ago, when you guys still were working on the first season of The Leet World, needless to say, I’ve been an avid follower of your content since those days to now and in the future. You’re honestly the only website for gaming news I trust, as well as featured articles that make you think and leave some insight. Keep up the great work guys! I look forward to what’s to come.
GamerSushi anniversary is Sep 11th?? Anyway grats on another year guys, awesome stuff, keep em coming 🙂
Whoohoo! Is 4 years old too late to give the book “Everybody Poops” as a gift?
I too was a follower of TLW and came here when you guys mentioned it on the site. I still swing onto SmoothFewFIlms every now and then to see if maybe there is a surprise waiting for me =(.
Cheers to more years!
Nice choice of avatar holy! Glad to see another appreciator of Brand New
The anniversary isn’t actually September 11th, it’s just when I remembered/posted about it. 🙂
Like playersbro I first came here when you were still plopping out Leet World episodes. Good times.
I’ve been neglectful of Gamersushi the last 6 months, thanks for the reminder to catch up!
Just want to say that I love writing for you guys. The fun and reasoned comments make it all worth it, even when Rivalicious is cracking the whip for MOAR FEATURZ
Is it that long? Wow. Glad to still be here and enjoying the ride a lot, guys. To the next 4 and more! *raises glass*
Wow, you’ve been going that long? Good effort guys. I think I’ve joined the party around 2.5 years ago, maybe 3, and I have to say this is one of the best sites on the web. I don’t comment as much as I used to, but rest assured I still read everything you write. Gamersushi really is one of the last bastions of decency on the interwebs, there’s never an argument that descends in to trolling. Sure we don’t always agree on things, but thats what opinions are all about.
So here’s to us, the Sushians and our lords and masters Eddy, Anthony, Mitch, Jeff and Nick (Friend of the site). May the coming years be just as good as what has gone before
Happy 4th birthday GamerSushi. Next year you will be starting kindergarten!
Anyways, I have been following you guys since around episode 3 of TLW, and have been enjoying all content that has been put out since. Here’s to another 4 years!

Our first post
Great job on four years guys! I hope the website continues for many more! I first visited Gamersushi from a link on the SmoothFewFilms website sometime in The Leet World’s second season, and I’ve been coming back ever since. Love the site guys, it’s one of the best there is! 😀
Oh wow. I share my birthday with Gamersushi. Day = made
Man I remember stumbling upon the Leet World a few years ago. I shred through the episodes in a day and was able to watch the last half of the second season as they released. Feels like only a year ago really, but here we are, four years down the road. This is the only site I comment on because I feel confident that only healthy and engaging conversations and debates are held here (unlike the rest of the internet). Thank you GS staff and everyone else, here’s for another 4.
Happy Birthday GamerSushi.
Appreciated your posts for all the time.
I got here after finishing season 1 of the Leet Show.
Please Keep on Rolling, GS.
Congrats, happy birthday, good work, and so forth! As I recall, I heard about GamerSushi from the Eddy himself, and Leet World in the same conversation. Pretty sweet day. Here’s to many more!
Happy birthday GS! I hope there will be many more.
Thanks playersbro, sweet youtube channel. Subbed 🙂
@holyfrijole Wow, thanks man! I appreciate it! I’m glad you enjoy the content! Always nice getting feedback like that 😀
