Pixel Count: Most Anticipated March Release

If you thought February was rough on your wallet, then I have some bad news for you: March is going to ruin your finances. Just to give you an idea, for the poll choices, I like to select the noteworthy games for the month and my original list was 12 and I had to trim a few off to make this thing look less like ALL the March releases.

It all begins today with Simcity and Tomb Raider, both of which are garnering stellar reviews. I plan on picking up Tomb Raider a little further down the road, but Simcity is already pre-ordered and ready to go. I literally can’t wait to start plopping buildings and building my own version of Florida in a digital form. The GamerSushi SimCity Region will never be the same once my chuckleheaded Sim-citizens start wreaking havoc.

Oddly enough, Sim City isn’t even the most anticipated game of the month for me. That honor belongs to Bioshock Infinite, a game which I almost don’t want to think about because I start drooling on my keyboard. The long-awaited official follow-up to Ken Levine’s original Randian masterpiece is dropping near the end of the month and minds will be blown. Blown minds will be. At least, I hope so.

It’s surreal that God of War: Ascension and Gears of War: Judgement feel like also-rans this month, coming from blockbuster franchises as they do, but with this level of quality releases, it is no slight to label them as such. That doesn’t even include the Castlevania 3DS game and the sequel to Luigi’s Mansion for the 3DS, as well. Oh, and did you know StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm is coming out, too? I do, if only because I promised Nick I would buy it for him as payment for building my leet PC.

So hit the poll and let us know in the comments which March video game release you are most dying to play.

Age: 34 PSN ID: Starkiller81. I've played games since before I can remember, starting with my dad's Atari and I haven't stopped yet. Keep them coming and I will keep playing them.

  1. Would’ve said Metro: Last Light, but realized that the game’s release date has been changed to some time in mid May, so ignore at least one of the “Other” votes. 🙂

  2. Bioshock. I am too excited. Like, WAY too excited. Now I’ve become worried that I’ve overhyped it for myself.

  3. It is killing me to know that Sim City is hanging at my house right now. I kept telling myself I wouldn’t play it on launch day, but the longer I sit here at work the more I’m dying to play it. The Beta was so addictive, I feel like the release is going to ruin me.
