Destiny Roll Call!

destiny roll call

Today is the day, Sushians! This is the day we step into Bungie’s brave new world and plumb the depths of Destiny for sweet loot.

Since Destiny is coming out on a fair number of consoles, I thought it would be a good idea to do a classic GamerSushi Roll Call! What system are you playing Destiny on? What class are you going to go with?

Personally I was leaning Titan for a while, but I made an eleventh-hour decision to roll a Warlock based on that classes’ level 15 healing and buffing ability which sounds like it will come in handy. Also, space magic and trench coats.

But what about you? How are you planning on playing Destiny?

  1. PS4 for me, PSN is playersbro. I’ve stuck with my choice of Warlock just as I did in the beta. I can’t stay away from those sweet sweet Nova Bomb AoE kills. Nova grenades are too useful too! See you guys starside!

  2. I’m not getting Destiny, and i’m sad it seems there actually is healing and warlocks in it there goes my jokes. I was going to say something like “I spec my Mitch for defense and healing.” But I guess I can’t do that now.

  3. I’m playing on the ‘Bone as a Hunter. I always go for the mage type classes in MMOs and RPGs, so I was disappointed when I found out that two of my good friends that I’d be playing with both wanted the Warlock. In my desire to be a unique little snowflake, I chose Hunter, and I must say I’m enjoying it more than I expected. The throwing knife is nasty, and I cannot wait to spec my guy out to use that thing more and more as I level up.

  4. @Drell I loved the throwing knife in the beta! It was super satisfying, and there are some cool powers later in the tree that play off of it.

The Hunter is a cool class overall. And because Cayde-6 the Hunter trainer is voiced by Nathan Fillion.

  5. I’m going to be playing on the PS4 (tag is xHexagen) and I’m still torn on what to play as. In the beta I enjoyed Warlock but Titan is very appealing. I have a feeling I will need to roll one of each before finally deciding.
