More Lyrical Madness, This Time With Mega Man 2

Putting lyrics to gaming songs might be one of the greatest new fads. Well, scratch that, it’s not really a fad, but it’s still totally awesome. Here’s another epic entry from brentalfloss, who also made the hilarious Tetris song. In this video, we see Mega Man 2, only with lyrics. He’ll save the effin’ day!

Ludacris Says to “Press the Start Button”

This is one of those things that needs almost no description. You just have to listen to it for yourself. I’ll still attempt a brief summary, though. In the new Ludacris album (the Netherlands release), there is a song called “Press the Start Button”, in which he raps about nearly ever freaking video game on the planet. Not quite, but close enough.

See how many references you can catch, because when he started dropping Contra and MGS bombs into the mix, I was shocked and/or awed.

Edit: By the way, this is totally NSFW.

Unlock all the Songs in Guitar Hero: World Tour

For you cheaters out there who don’t want to earn anything (you know who you are), Kotaku has posted the color code to enter into Guitar Hero: World Tour to unlock every single song in the game. Back in my day, kids had to walk four miles in snow to get their cheat codes, and now you’ve got your bloggers just posting them for free!

All old man-ness aside, it’s actually pretty helpful for you guys that are going to be playing the game, I’m sure. My friends and I did this for Rock Band 2 and it made the game instantly more fun. Since doing this opens up all 84 songs to your playing enjoyment, I’m sure it’s a tempting offer. I mean, I’m lazy, so I’d probably do it, too.

Anybody going to get this game, or has already gotten it?

Retro: Playable Famicom in Wii Music

In an act of total fanboy service, Nintendo has stuck the original NES into Wii Music’s broad and eclectic repertoire of instruments. While I kind of made fun of this game, and still am inclined to, some of the game-related sounds coming out of this seem like they’d be a lot of fun to do stuff with. Plus, I’m a dork for all things related tot he original Famicom.
